Graphene-Based Photo-Fenton Catalysts for Pollutant Control

Abstract Water pollution is a global environmental issue with multi-dimensional influences on human life. Some strategies, such as photo-Fenton reaction, have been employed to remove recalcitrant pollutants. Two-dimensional (2D) graphene and its three-dimensional (3D) configurations attracted considerable attention emerging carbon-based catalysts in fields owing their alluring properties electron transfer, reactant adsorption, light response. This review summarizes the recent developments 2D 3D graphene-based for reactions. Their structures, characteristics, activity, mechanisms are discussed. The conclusions outlooks proposed profound understanding of challenges future directions.
